Tax Associate Job Vacancy

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation and will be responsible for handling inquiries from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) on behalf of our clients, as well as conducting Tax Appeals Tribunal Appeals.

Job Responsibilities

1. Attending to KRA Inquiries
2. Conducting Tax Appeals Tribunal Appeals
3. Tax Planning and Compliance
4. Client Relationship Management

Qualifications and Skills Required

1. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on taxation.
2. Qualified accountant possessing CPA (K).
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax-related role, preferably within a professional services firm.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to effectively represent our
   clients in interactions with KRA and in Tax Appeals Tribunal proceedings.
5. Proficiency in using i-tax and other relevant tools to assist in the preparation of tax returns and other documentation.
